The World’s Longest Hockey Game is proud to be partnering with the Alberta Cancer Foundation (ACF), an exciting collaboration that expands the reach of this iconic fundraising event and strengthens its impact on cancer research and patient care in Alberta.
The game runs from February 5 to February 16, the World’s Longest Hockey Game will once again bring players, volunteers, and supporters together for days and nights of non-stop hockey—all in support of those affected by cancer. Funds raised through this year’s game will help support critical equipment for cutting-edge treatment initiatives that benefit patients across the province.
“We are incredibly excited to partner with the Alberta Cancer Foundation,” said Brent Saik. “Cancer has touched every one of us in some way, and this partnership allows our hockey community to make an even greater impact right here at home.”
ACF is accepting and processing all the donations this year, and they have dedicated volunteers who will be running the on-site donation tent and the on-site silent auction. There will be limited merchandise available for purchase at the event, as well.
The public is encouraged to donate, visit the rink, and cheer on the players throughout the game. Every contribution—big or small—helps move cancer research forward and supports Albertans facing cancer today and in the future.
Donations can be made online through the World’s Longest Hockey Game fundraising pages.
