While donations are still being finalized, the World’s Longest Hockey Game 2026 has raised over $1.1 million toward seven vital pieces of equipment for the CAR-T cell immunotherapy lab at the Cross Cancer Institute.
|
Combined with funds already raised through the 2025 Glenn Anderson Day of Golf, total fundraising efforts now exceed $2.1 million toward the Cure Cancer Foundation’s $2.5 million goal.
Although the game is over you can still support this cause. There are still some funds in the $100,000 matching contribution to match your donation. It is never to late to jump on this team. If you are interested please click here to donate.

“This result is nothing short of incredible,” says Brent Saik, founder. “What we witnessed on and off the ice was a powerful demonstration of what happens when community and determination come together. The players, officials, volunteers, sponsors, and donors poured their hearts into this event, and the impact will be felt by patients and families across Alberta.”
